ABOUT ROMY
My name is Romy and I am passionate about theatre!
I have over ten years of acting experience and have been performing in Pantomimes at the Plowright theatre every year since 2011. Since the age of 16 I have taken on a variety of main roles in these pantomimes and plays.
I especially love to perform comedy roles and have a particular passion for pantomimes and musicals.
I have plenty of experience working with children. It started when I was 12 and I helped out at the youngest Girlguiding group; Rainbows. Since the age of 16 I have been assisting at the children’s drama group that I used to attend. I have also been a leader at Brownies since the age of 18 and I am currently the main leader (Brown Owl).

As a child and teenager, I competed in the drama section of The Scunthorpe Musical Festival, often placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd. I hope to give the children of Cloud Nine the chance to gain the valuable experience that this festival can provide.

I am also a graphic designer who specialises in designing props and promotion for theatre. I am currently studying a degree in graphic design and plan to use my skills during Cloud Nine's productions.

My training and qualifications
I studied drama at John Leggott College.
I am currently receiving private singing lessons.
I am a member of the British Pantomime Academy and am in the process of completing various theatre training courses.
I have a full Girlguiding Leadership Qualification that includes first response and level 3 safeguarding training. I am also fully DSB checked.
I gained a black belt in Taekwondo aged 11 and trained in Majorettes as a child from as young as 2.
